Rancor Reduces Crime?

Rancorous Swami Ramdev is pulling out of Bihar, India after leading a week-long yoga jamboree there. Various political leaders piled on to receive the blessing of Ramdev (in the form of votes from his devotees.) One went to far as to claim:

Thanks to Baba Ramdeo's 'pranayam', number of crimes committed in Bihar during his entire stay in Bihar were the lowest in so many years.

That's stealing a play right out of the Madharishi's playbook! Scoundrel!
