Amma's Love Comes To Get Us, Kali's Comes Raging Back
File under: The Siddhi of PR
This is what Amma's love is doing to us right now:
After reading through Jody Radzik’s posts on Google Groups (under his name “Jodyrrr”), it became apparent to me that he has a compulsive need to be “right”. Jody trashed and bashed anyone who dissented with him and accused them of “projecting” and having “uninformed opinions”. Although Jody ranted about realization (claiming he is self-realized), he broke down into shrieking hissy fits, labeling (or is it “projecting”) others as being “stupid and crass”. Sri Sri Jodyrrr (the self-professed Saint and Mahatma) exhibited (and continues to exhibit) the behaviors of ordinary, over-emotional and non-realized humans. What do we keep telling y'all? Enlightened or not, we all poop on the same pot. It's interesting how the authors are accusing us of claiming to know what we're talking about as a way to attack our credibility.
Thank God we've little reason to take exception to any of this, except for this one little bit:
Apparently, Jody Radzik converses with Mother Kali on a regular basis and hears her voice in his head. Sounds rather spooky, if you ask me.Besides being one of the only claims about us without a reference to back it up, it's just plain untrue. The author is either accidentally or purposefully conflating our description of a guru (who happened to be an Ammachi devotee) we followed for a few months in 1999, who did claim to hear the voice of Mother Kali. In fact, that was the main reason we left his satsang, we couldn't get with what "Mother" was "telling" him.
Other than that, this is a well-researched piece. We regard it as a recognition of our good work that the authors took so much care in putting it together. Truly a wonderful example of Ammachi's love in action.
PS: Swami C. isn't our guru; he's just a friend.
Update: Kali's love comes raging back to counteract Amma's love in the form of this counter-counter-protest site, just announced today:
The creation of this website which attacks the critics of Ammachi does nothing more than prove what many of us have been starting to realize: The "hugging saint" and those who follow her are not as peaceful and loving as they would have you believe. Keep an eye on that website to see how devotees of Ammachi behave toward those who have been outspoken about the organization. We will also keep track of the site and will post anything relevant here. We have read many times that critics of Ammachi have been attacked in the past, but this new website really shows and proves their behavior. We swear on Ma's luscious Lotus Feet that we do not have anything to do with this website, and we have no idea who the author is, either. But the turban comes off and gets thrown on the floor again this week for another fine piece of work.
Update: Today we were informed that the Cult of the Hugging Saint website is back up on the net.

Ammachi is in the States and is sending her flying monkeys out again.
And she she is coming too. It must be flying monkey time or the bank accounts in India are emptying.

I was just reading the anti-ammachi-guruphiliac rant and I noticed your explanation of Atman being Brahman, not a "separate" drop in some stupid ocean (as this implies actual separation rather than illusory). I actually figured out this puzzle many years ago, how a unitary consciousness can have multiple disjoint experiences. In fact, this problem rests upon the assumption that a particular person is continuously conscious. Nope! Rather, a particular person is much like a movie in that it is a series of instances stitched together as a continuity. While a particular person experiences a continuous existence as that person, that continuity is an illusion created by the mental form. All real experience is instantaneous so there is only the now-awareness and this now-awareness is a product of the brain/mind. The answer lies in-between the stitched now-images that are produced by by a particular brain/mind. It is in these in-between moments that all other brain/minds are experienced, one at a time. Think of it as a billion billion billion movies playing all at once, except that at any given instant only one movie is projecting its image on the screen. And during that instant, the total experience is a product of only that movie which, due to its form, creates the impression that it is the only movie. Thus Brahman plays alone, ever lost in its moments.
now pardon me while I take a dump...
These people are devoting so much time and energy to exposing Amma's critics? They go so far as to make annotated lists of some ex devotee girls entire life and everything she ever wrote online. Shouldn't they be feeding the poor or something?
Makes that whole Amma gang look very bad.

PRESS RELEASE:
Followers of Amma "The Hugging Saint" Launch Website To Attack Critics And Ex-Devotees.

Notice that the content is duplicated from saisathyasai.com. I remember the nutjob who owns that website, a dribbling devotee of the Babaster who makes his living out of bashing Babaster's critics. Seems he has a hard-on about other guru-bashers too. hmm
Taha. The counter-counter site is going to bring more bad PR to the thugging saint than a throng of "critics" could--and a press release to boot! Loving it.
We have confirmed that one of the people behind the ex-devotee/critic attack site is Gerald Joe Moreno, an Internet terrorist and cyberpath.
So the question now is...why are devotees of the hugging saint teaming up with a known Internet terrorist?

the examma girl they are posting on that site...I know of her and have seen her before. she is an artist. she used to give readings 10 years or more ago so those websites and photos are very old. these people must be getting this info from the internet wayback machine. shouldnt they be carrying rocks around in ammachis pink castle instead of looting the internet archives for prehistoric info on anyone who ever left the cult?
Jody, are you sure it is Amma's organization doing this? Could it not just be a few perturbed individuals? I feel pretty critical of Amma herself and believe that anyone who literally or figuratively sets themselves up on a throne to be worshiped as God should be avoided. The fact that a number of old friends are as fundamentalized Ammabots as any right wing christian could be, is enough for me to despise what she has created, and I have read about the dark side of her orphanages and hospitals. India being what it is how could some sort of mafia not be a part of any organized effort. But is there enough real evidence to prove real criminality and put Amma on a par with Sai Baba, without the pedophilia. It looks to me that she is stepping in to dethrone the guy as he fades.
Money making religions attract mafia attention. Jody, I wonder why you have not given more attention to crimes with the Osho Rajneesh camp?
I wonder why you have not given more attention... Osho Rajneesh
He's dead. My bugaboo is with gurus who claim to be God while alive.
Look at this!

First time in America. That means no government or goons can touch the author. Loving it.
no government or goons can touch the author
But the author might be just one of the many slightly crazy people who dominate ashrams. Some of these leave disgruntled, projecting much more conflict into what is essentially an "Amma's way or the highway" situation. Sometimes, folks just need to move on.
Actually, Ms. Jones' book looks interesting. If she sent me a copy, I'd review it.
I have to say that the video advertisement for this book is so grossly self serving that it's almost enough for me to look favorably at Amma. Like Jody, I have seen many "devotees" living with their heads very high up their own asses. When worshiping themselves via the guru doesn't give the desired effect, ie having others worshiping them as well, there can be an amazing turn around in how they see the guru. It is very likely this woman was unstable before she spent two years in India. Did she have children before she went there? Did she leave her children to go to India? I guess she's hoping to get the “everything” she gave up back in spades.
Hmmmm I don't know why the lady is being judged as unstable. From what I can see, the author is a teacher and seems very smart and put together. The mental instability of most of the Ammabots is one of the things that made her head for the hills. I haven't read the book, but from what I gather she spent two years in the ashram after giving up her previous life and family like most ammabots do. She managed to get out and the book details her experiences with Ammachi and the ashram. She turned to Jesus after her terrible experiences there. Jesus isn't really my thing, but I am going to pick up the book because I think there's probably a lot of interesting stuff in there about the Ammachi empire.
She turned to Jesus after her terrible experiences
The fact that she "turned" gives her an ideological motivation to bash Ammachi. Jesus is the only way, ya know. ;)
Her various achievements could just as easily be the result of neurosis as it is excellence.
But please fill us in if you read the book.
If you compare and contrast Ammachi's empire with the various Jesus empires, it would be like comparin bullshit and cowshit! Aint much difference tween them! In some situations shit is good but you don't want to be eatin it or sleepin in it, lessen your my lap dog cause he thinks its all good!
Guess somebody has to do it, but don't you get tired or just plain bored of the drama? BTW the only reason this is posted under this thread is because I felt I should actually read the post I'm replying to, the others were just too long.
I don't know the specifics, so I can only relay my own life experiences. I am on disability living in section 8 therefore all the people I live around are here because of a variety of reasons. Last summer I visited an ashram, and there were people ranging from good, and nice to malignant narcissists (could very well be sociopaths). I have to say that they were sicker than the people I live around, and I was glad to come home. One worker, who I got this "ick' feeling from suddenly announced at lunch "I'd like to go see my daughter, but my ex-wife won't let me. She says I got drunk and had sex with my daughter." I wouldn't characterize an ashram as a safe environment. It can be wonderful short-term, but you really have to watch your back. Spiritual narcissism is something that is easily mistaken for other things, and Narcisists are the most seductive of all people.
