We imagine the PR machine of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to be somewhat like the crew that hangs out at the Bada Bing! Nice people if you know them in a casual situation, but if they want something from you, watch out.
These soldiers of Sri Sri's fortune have managed to wrangle yet another accolade for their fame-lusting leader. This time it's from Mongolia, as it turns out that the president of Mongolia is an Art of Living patsy. So are thousands of other dupes in that country according to the AoL propaganda machine:
Thousands of people attended his functions during [his visit], with more than 10,000 people present at a session on Sudarshan Kriya, a rhythmic breathing and yoga programme developed by Ravi Shankar.Knowing the AoL PR department's penchant for grossly overstating attendance figures for its events, we figure maybe a few hundred up to perhaps a thousand were actually present after you subtract the ten-thousand farm animals that were being driven to market within earshot of Sri Sri's braying.

You may as well give up. I think you should start your own guru business. Why not? These #*@holes will go on and on making their millions, brainwashing people, and becoming generally prosperous and famous, no matter what anyone here says. Some guy says he's Buddha. Another one is Avatar of Krisna. Somebody else is Jesus come again. Why don't you get with the program, man? Figure out the packaging and get yourself a rolls royce? I mean, what difference does it make? Somebody is getting rich and famous -- why not you? God doesn't mind, really. I suspect that's how all these frauds started "hmmmm all these gurus are liars, but rich....Maybe I should start like them, and when I'm really famous, I'll tell them the Truth!" Then they fall, naturally, sucked in by all the accolades and wealth, and their initial feeling of wanting to help humanity evaporates like water on a summer Delhi street.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and all his idiot followers couldn't care less about their detractors. They have their own little society built up around themselves for protection on all levels, especially psychological. They will die in denial. Who cares? Let them.

Anybody else think Sri Sri could be a stunt double for Usama Bin Ladin? Very similar face & beard...
Wah! Exactly -- I thought I was the only one who noticed that he looks just like Osama Bin Laden! Sometimes when they show those Al Queda tapes and O B'L glances over at the camera, I'd swear it was Ravi Shankar. Only thing is SRRS is something like 5' 3" whereas Bin Laden is 6' 3". Still, the likeness is uncanny. You can tell a lot about a person's nature by their face, they say.
I like that SSRS is saying he'll take his next birth in Mongolia. At least he admits he is not enlightened by saying this. Finally.
How do you people know that Buddha,Mohammed,Christ etc were not frauds?Their cults were also spread by their followers.You never saw them or did you?All of them were labelled as frauds & fame seekers in their lifetimes.
Look at the positive impact AOL has done to the people across the world. When one feels he is only the best, he cannot accept that something so positive can happen without his knowledge. To elevate self esteem he will start putting down more enlightened people. Who is fooling who? I would ask one question to the sceptics. When was the last time a million people, may be a thousand, hundred or a single person whole heartedly thankked you for the positive difference you made to their life?
Oh! Come on be honest and tell me, how many of you you have blogged here have actually taken the course offered by Sri Sri's foundation..I am not here to support or defend anyone...I would rather suggest that people must experience first and only then comment..Have you ever gone through the breathing exercise in the course...Its just awesome, mind blowing...The healing benefits by the technique are unfathomable..The research going on the technique has left people agape....So people lets not just waste time in blogging against people....
yeah sri sris propaganda matches that of another highly deluded flimflammer - prem rawat. you should take a look at his site, its shameless self promotion all the time. rawat used to pick and choose which god he was everyday, eg monday he was krishna, tues - jesus, wed - buddha, thurs - all in one i.e all 3, fri - lord of the universe, saturday - motivational speaker and sunday it was his day off. try beating that sri sri!
