Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living PR assault squad have very successfully capitalized on the March 3 terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan, by relentlessly promoting the "trauma relief and counselling program" they comped to the Sri Lankan cricket team targeted in the attack. The stunning press action by the crack AoL team netted over 30 mentions in a Google News search this evening.
The turban gets tipped in the direction of Bangalore to the true siddhas of guru pimping.

I knew it. I knew it. Art of Living pimps would get to anything that makes news. What best then to use Sri Lankan cricketers trauma. Any thing will do - tsunami, earthquakes etc. They will make the news and run away. Notnhing will come out of them. But they gain all publicity.

Same thing with the school project - there is one school near the Ashram with all the works - this is to hoodwink the foreigners who come to Ashram into thinking that all the school projects are like that - sadly its not so
Whenever there is a calamity, AOL would be there and they would ensure that the media is there to give coverage. After all the publicity is over nothing comes out of the all the projects - it just fizzles into oblivion.
Over 100 Iranians were brought to the Ashram to train as teachers to teach the Art of Living programs in Iran and Iraq - there was so much of media coverage. The Iranians were out of place at the Ashram - they didnt like vegetarian food and SSRS went out of his way to make sure that the food was cooked to resemble non vegetarian food.
What happened after all the hoola bhoola - again fizzled off.
Thats the story of AOL.

tsunami rehabilitation work is still on in Tamil Nadu.
Tihar Jail has been turned into Tihar ashram in delhi.
talk to any ONE youth who has done d aol course and see for urself wat a metamorphosis he/she has undergone.
aol courses for kids is helping even dsylexic kids.. i'm a witness to it.
i'm not tryg to sell aol to u neither am i wantg to prove anything to u i'm just stating plain , simple and hardcore reality to u.
and lastly let me give u an example.........
a few yrs ago thr was a major fire in a slum in d locality i live. we all contributed food etc in our capacities . then d elderly ppl of d sector got together
and collected funds for relief material for d victims. and u know wat i was chosen as d carrier of the supplies coz of my profile as an aolite.
wen we reached d site d govt funded agencies had already left by 3--4 day and only an aol run NGO was still there providg food and shelter.
next time before passing such harsh judgement plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz check out things for urself.
