The Babaster's Karmic Disaster

File under: Hands Where They Don't Belong and Satscams

Our pals at Sai Baba EXPOSED share the sad story of what appears to the author as a karmic reckoning:
Now [Sai Baba] is reduced to a gibbering, senile, drooling, old fool, in a pathetic condition in full view of the world. He is dependent on his staff even for eating food, going to the toilet etc, what a cruel fate he has invited upon himself. His situation is so pathetic that he has asked his devotees to pray for him and also conduct healing yagnas etc.
It appears we'll soon be free of the handsy-with-the-young-boys flimflammer. We look forward to the whole truth coming out in the aftermath of his expiration.

this is an easy one. He is doing it to take on more and more bad karmas of the world. so devotees are praying for the people of the world, not for baba, DUH.
It is SO easy to explain away everything once you're sold into the "so-and-so is god almighty" deal.

Jody,
This blog is ridiculous. Do you really think that getting old is pathetic? Pray tell me, why do you think Sai baba has invited this fate onto himself, as you mentioned in your blog? Isn't this a fate you and me and everyone else is going to face someday? Maybe Sai baba is a charlatan; but to ridicule someone just because someone is old shows your complete lack of moral values. If you want to expose babas, then do it. But base it on facts. Otherwise, what is the distinction between you and your fake babas?

Not as much as the guy who wrote the thing.

Pray tell me, why do you think Sai baba has invited this fate onto himself, as you mentioned in your blog?

It was implied in article posted at saibabaexposed.blogspot.com. I'm just reporting its publication.

Isn't this a fate you and me and everyone else is going to face someday?

Surely, we will all die. Personally, I hope to end up a human popsicle in a backcountry avalanche at the ripe old age of ninety, but it's in Ma's hands. Maybe she's going to render me a slobbering invalid as well.

Maybe Sai baba is a charlatan; but to ridicule someone just because someone is old shows your complete lack of moral values.

What moral values I lack had little to do with the production of this article by an author who is not me. I merely reported that it was published and provided an excerpt.

If you want to expose babas, then do it. But base it on facts. Otherwise, what is the distinction between you and your fake babas?

I'm not saying I'm more God than anyone else, I'm not claiming to have any kind of special, supernatural powers, and I'm certainly not getting any money for any of this.

Sandip,

you may care to notice that I didn't write the piece either, although I posted it on my blog. It was written by a veteran exposer of Sai Baba who has close contacts with people "in the know". Besides, its not too hard to evaluate Sai Baba's physical situation even from bulletins and pictures released from official Sai websites.

In any case, I actually feel sorry for Sai Baba despite being a critic of his, in that he has brought most of it on himself.

I also think you're avoiding the main point: It's not about being a "pathetic old person", it's about Sai Baba's claims to be an avatar. Do you really think an avatar would suffer so much? The basic point is that Sai Baba is a complete failure; everything he has said he would do, he hasn't done. And now he is laid bare for the entire world to see his current state, and still his devotees continue to believe blindly.

What else can be done?

hah! I am suprised reading this. I was told that sai baba would be healthy. Ages ago he had a stroke and said a story about it, so it happened again?
ALso,when his is to die he would 'walk' into water and disolve into the cosmos. He is unable to do that now!

Well, with respect, I have no belief in the karmic roundabout. But for all the child abused kids, adults, false promises, false miracles, the people who died in hope that he would heal them, for the kids who were shot and killed in his ashram, the lies, the propaganda, my own experience etc etc, he is no 'divine' being, but a perverted old mortal, who is able to manipulate people into believing in him.
Right now, it is only because he is old he is suffering, nothing more.

Well, his situation only makes his propaganda stronger...'too much bad karma for the world, don't want armegeddon to happen to my beloved devotees, so i take your sin into me' so says sai paedo baba.

Not being rude, but if he dies before 2022, I think that would mess up his prophesy of living to 96, plus he won't be able to walk into the water and dissolve.

Actually, neither do I. It's a nice thought designed to help make folks feel better about the bad that happens in life.

The world will be better off without Sai baba, and the world is better off with those who call out these manipulative fraudsters.

Jody, I just want to thank you for posting this and making me aware of what is going on with Sai Baba and his current condition. I was unaware of it and like to know the truth about these gurus I have read about and heard so much about. And all I heard was how divine they are, and all the miracles, etc. and now I am actually hearing the human side and seeing what really is. So thank you again for making me aware of this, for on my own, I wouldn't have known this. Keep up the good work of informing us of interesting things about gurus.

Jody and Saiexposednanda,
If someone writes an article, and you post it in your blog, then you implicitly agree with its contents, I guess. So you cannot escape the responsibility now by saying "I did not write the blog. It was someone else". Until, you think that your blog does not represent your own view points.

Saiexposeananda mentions in his comments that Sai baba has brought it onto himself. Why do you think so?

Also, even a guru is bound to some extent by the laws of nature. So to say that someone wont fall ill just because he/she is a guru is completely a fallacious argument. Now, it is another thing if Sai baba himself says that he wont ever fall ill or grow old. If that is the case, then you have to show me the proof. No empty talking please.

Again, I am no fan of Sai baba. But I hate when people have a bias and talk without facts.

Insofar as I'd like to see Sai Baba out of business, yes. Whether or not the fact he's an outright criminal had anything to do with this present misfortunes, I can't say. But I can let others say so when we share the goal of warning folks about this flimflammer.

to jody: yea i agree with what you said, but it does get messy when it is used with children who die because of tumours and 'bad' adults live healthily with no complications and lots of money.

There is another crap called ancestral sin propagated by a rev. moon and other religions (that uses another form of karmic repercussion) where the kids or good people suffer because of the actions of the parent or grandparent, or great great great great grandparent, or because of adam and eve.
Also, child abuse can happen using this 'karmic debt' to cover it up.

it is a nice thought for those who don't care for other people, because when you hear that a guy had mugged an 88 yr old woman for a few quid, then suddenly won the lottery 8 yrs later getting £4 million to feed his addictions. Also many convicted people were named and shamed in 'The Sun' highest getting £9.9 million.
Should I kill or mug to get a chance to win the lottery?

about £10 million will be nice!

People who take offense at any slights towards deluded pseudogurus are not without bias.

Why is one obliged to respect the manipulation of others?

People are pissed because they have been offered chocolate covered ice cream onlt to find what they have paid for is a steaming bowl of horse shit on a feather bed of broken promises.

Jody and others point out that the emperor has shit his pants and now stands completely naked in the market place tryin to sell that same shit as a herbal ointment!

Face it sandip, there is a problem in the world of gurus just like there is in the catholic church and every other religious and or spiritual institution in the world. Since it seems very natural for those of us to believe we are ignorant to seek out the help of those who seem to know something valuable, the guru-disciple relationship will likely go on and on.

It's up to all of us who actually care about these matters to stand up and say enough is enough... Throw out the bums and clear the temple of its business men!

I'm not usually this sincere but my mule told me I had to try!

Avatars are human. That is why they suffer as humans! Secondly if some people believe that Baba or Sri Sri or anyone else is an avatar, there is little you can do to change their minds about them. So as a wise Texan or is it an Arizonian said, "Shut the fuck up and mind your own fucking business!"

See, I only quoted a wise Texan or Arizonian and did not say anything myself.

Dear sir or madam, I believe that weather or not I am shutting my mouth---unless I am tryin to swallow a neck load of fried okra--remains my bidness (as we pronounce it around here)! It is always more than appropriate to point out a kid diddling bastard like Sly Baba and say he should be castrated and rope drug!

I happened to come to this page as my curiosity was aroused after the Nithyananda expose. But after reading the 3-year old posts on Sai Baba and seeing the situation that is really there, it seems to me that this site itself is into a lot of rumour-mongering. Get yourself a real job kiddo :D

Been ages since I've been here. Latest report, Sai Baba critical and on life support. The supreme being of the universe had a pace maker installed end of March 2011, has multiple organ failure and is on life support. But he can 'choose' when he 'dies'. Unofficial reports state he is already dead (wed 20th april @ 1530 indian time) and there is now an influx of 4000 police officers at his ashram.

Funny how godmen and godwomen die like common human beings......
