That Little Piggy Con Man

Kalki Bhagavan, the biggest criminal/guru currently residing on the planet, loses another person who was just too smart to dupe. From an anonymous comment left here:
Well, I had the interesting experience of being at one of these so-called Oneness Blessings. I had only read what was on their web site and unfortunately didn't read any further before going. But, being there and making my own impression and THEN reading blogs only confirms that I can trust my intuition. I can't believe what a scam this is. There were so many things wrong with what was happening, but so subtly that it was only further discussions with my husband that confirmed my suspicions. Not to mention finding so many other blogs on the subject. I "received" 7 blessings in a row, and no NOTHING HAPPENED. I have had reki and am a yoga teacher and I am open minded enough to be receptive, but this is just a bunch of nonsense that is a big money making empire. To anyone who still has any doubts, I have to say that you should run away. Anyone who tells you that this can take away all that [ails] you and says that they want to heal and bring together the world, but then says there is only a limited amount of blessings to give is full of it.It will be a joyous day for all of creation when the Kracki's Oneness Movement ends up in the toilet, the only place it has ever belonged.

This anonymous comment does nothing to convince me that the Kalki is a scam or a con. Get some real stories to share that might possibly change ones mind rather than just drivel like this.
Just because they did not feel anything does not mean nobody feels anything or that there is not something actually happening that they are not aware of. This is very bad journalism in my opinion and you need to have something more substantial than this to convince me otherwise that they are fakes.
you need to have something more substantial than this to convince me
If you cannot see that Kalki is a bald-faced fraud on the front of it, you are too damn dumb to be convinced by anything else.
FYI: This isn't journalism, it's commentary, brought to you from the mind of an asshole.
Kalki is laundering money in the US through banks abroad and through his son Krishna.
These guys are first rate scammers using this made up crap to prey on weaker humans.
I know, I worked for them in Chennai and have seen the money laundering first hand.
The police here in India won't listen. They have been bribed in the millions.
Please, please, tell all. This group is a scam and con. Tell the police, tell everyone that we here in India fear for our lives that if we tell and they find us, they will make us disappear.
as a tangent, what is the psychology behind this "blessing" crap?
obviously, jody has indicated that a lot of it is the "space mommy" dynamic, where people want to renounce their own responsibility. i'd elaborate by saying it's a lack of faith--most of these nouveau devotees are coming from no real "spiritual" tradition--the nearest default is psychoanalysis--so it's not surprising that you have a mega-scam "transference" operation going on. further still, the lack of faith in one's own ability to "be" in the present moment, moment-to-moment, leads to looking for someone outside, rather than just asking, "what is it?" with earnesty and ardency.
pardon the metaphor but it's like personal training. if you don't know anything about exercising (i.e., "being in the moment"... and a lot of people don't) a trainer can help. but do you need the trainer to exercise? can he lift the weights and run the treadmill for you? and why are you still paying him?
What is it in our psychology that makes us suddenly receptive to "grace" or love. I'm in my late 50's now and find that I am not nearly so "receptive" as I was when I was in my 20's and meditation, gurus, etc was new to me. By now I have had hundreds or thousands of beautiful experiences but still I find that my real "spirituality" stands or falls on the bedrock of regular life, interacting with regular people and facing the problems associated with family and livelihood and health. At some point I got tired of bliss just like people get tired of dating.
By the way Jody, you may be an asshole making commentary from the mind of an asshole but we all need and benefit from such a hole as your are. Thanks!
Ironically, the main page shows an advert of the Moola Mantra CD from the Kracki guys! (way to go, Google!) LOL.

Right. Maybe it's not good or bad to chase after bliss or special experiences. Maybe it's something that you have to pursue until you've had enough of it, and then you can slow down the chase and take a look at ordinary, moment to moment life.
By the way Jody, you may be an asshole making commentary from the mind of an asshole but we all need and benefit from such a hole as your are.
There's a Zen saying that's something like: big things have big uses, small things have small uses. The point I think is that you don't have to make yourself anything better or different than you are. If I happen to be an asshole, then maybe I can use my assholocity to help all beings. Why not?

First to Betty: thanks for the props. It's gratifying when folks get what I'm trying to do.
If I happen to be an asshole, then maybe I can use my assholocity to help all beings.
It's the only qualification I have to speak on these matters, Stuart.
If I happen to be an asshole, then maybe I can use my assholocity to help all beings. Why not?
----------------------------
But why even think of helping or not helping anyone? If I happen to be asshole, i just remain, it is for the people to find help or a hassle with it?
I think like this because, the idea of helping stems from the fact that I am resourseful, that I can help and also there are people who are helpless and are in need of my help and perhaps can get help from me? Am i not placing myself little above the helpless?
Is that what kracki or the pope doing presently ? Aint it some people find help from them too, as much some are hassled?
Stuart, Im just kidding. Ignore me. You are indeed a man of enlightenment !
"It will be a joyous day for all of creation when the Kracki's Oneness Movement ends up in the toilet, the only place it has ever belonged."
I'm wondering how soon that's going to happen, given that Kracki seems to have gained ground among the conspicuously enlightened crowd. As I commented on another recent post here, a couple of books about "Oneness" and "Deeksha" are currently the top sellers at the big Unity Church here in Houston. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that their senior minister went to India and did the 21-day "Process" in September. Now the church is offering periodic mass "Oneness blessings."
Of course, it may be just another passing fad at Unity, which is a hotbed for every New-Wage fad that comes along. They wholeheartedly embraced "The Secret," and now are into the "Complaint-Free World" craze as well. (Purple bracelets, anyone? They go so nicely with your WWJD bracelet, your Q-Link necklace, and your magic watch that will deflect EMFs and ETs.)
From my outsider's perspective, Oneness seems like kind of a big deal at Unity for now. This matters because even though it is a New Thought church, Unity is a fair indicator of the level of acceptance of New-Wage ideas in mainstream culture. The membership of the Houston Unity is made up primarily of affluent, educated and relatively conservative folks, counting among its members at least one former mayor of Houston. It remains to be seen just how accepting the membership will be of wacky Kracki's teachings, but he's gained a foothold there anyway.
BTW, Jody, I get some of that same type of criticism your first Anon commenter leveled against you, re "bad journalism." I can't seem to make some people understand that any resemblance between what I do on my blog and real journalism is purely accidental.
I'm wondering how soon that's going to happen,
All it's going to take is one slip up at the top and an alienation of a higher-up staff member. If they can get out to tell their story before they are threatened into silence... or worse, the Kracki's little empire will all come crashing down.

Now you really are talkin out your ass, semblance! This is the justification that rich folks use who know they should help others but don't want to... Quit thinkin and just do somethin nice for some poor fellow... I could use a little cash help my own self...
Cosmic Connie, I went to that Unity church in Houston when I was a young fellow. That's where I met that Indian woman God who looks like Jabba the Hut and makes her husband sit on a smaller chair than her while she puts her feet on the flag of India. They had her in some basement not in the big room! Can't remember her name right now but her body is burned forever in my mind as a horror!

Cool, Chuck, I think you've nicely summarized the whole of the Dharma right here.
When my nose itches, I don't spend any time thinking about whether or not I'm placing myself above my poor helpless nose. I just scratch it, and then no problem.

-----------
Precisely, I dont need to scratch my poor nose with an attitude of helping my nose. I may not even have the time to think that I gotta help and then decide about helpin' but it is just spontaneous. Helping someone may happen even without a tag of help. Thats true dharma I think. Moment the tag help entered, then follows the favors and surrender and devotion etc. I cant appreciate my poor nose thanking me after I scratched. In any case how am i so sure that my helping a poor fela really helped him without causing him any damage in the long run?
I have 'helped' many. But I shudder to think that I help people. It somehow feels funny in the indescribable part of my body and mind.
If i thank the Lord sun because he sends his rays of light and warmth and wake my creepy head from the previous night high, I think the lord sun may not even recognize it.
The breeze may rustle my body and make me feel refreshed and 'help' me chase my heady times. But im dang sure the breeze has no mind to 'help' me even though im helped.
While entire creation coexist
'helping' each other without an advice from a double wide, where help is spontaneous then what is the need for me to roll up my sleeves and go on a mission looking for the helpless??
If i cant find a helpless fela then will I resort to create one, because now I have to help someone?
Im sorry but cant figure this idea of 'helping' when help may happen in many unknown ways !
But Chuckji, how do you manage a itch in the double wide ? Do you always locate the spot exactly ?

At a minimum, we can throw away any idea of "I help people." Likewise we can throw away all ideas about what helps people.
It's the question that may be useful. When we perceive that everything arises from emptiness and returns to emptiness, we're free to chose any life-direction at all. And one possible choice is to be guided by the question: how can I help?
When I'm hungry, the eating comes automatically. When someone else is hungry, maybe it takes some intention to treat them as I'd treat myself, and give them food.
Just today, my buddy who's a new father sent me this link

suggesting that babies under a year old can already recognize and be attracted by compassion. It seems to be something inherent in our nature... but maybe some effort is required to keep our natural compassion from getting covered up with ideas.

To Jody,

I think you didn't take into consideration the population of India. Kalki has a huge following. The only way he will come crashing down is if he doesn't pay off the right police chief, or right MLA or MP who goes to him there. Really, in India, these people get away with it forever, unless they are lax in payments, or politically aligned with the "wrong" people. Witness the jailing of the Shankaraya of Kanchi a while back. That was simple politics, and his unwillingness to play. That's all it was. Kalki plays with the right people, greases the right palms, as it were, and will keep winning, no matter who comes forward with horror tales, and I'm sure there are plenty of them by now.
The world is a dirty little place, eh? Oh well.

I been told I am avatar of the asshole, semblance! That means all my parts, though they have learned to function as arms, leggs, nose etc., are in truth the self same asshole! Therefore, no matter where I scratch, it's the right place! The doublewide is my loka! It is the perfectest physical expression of my asshole consciousness! I am home!
That havin been said, I mainly stay in the mule shed with mule plop for a pillow! You can help me without "helpin" anytime you want, good buddy! Merry Christmas!

"Kalki has a huge following."
I am truly sorry... but in a country of 1 billion... please define "huge" for me? I am curious!
Because, if I say "hinduism" has a huge following... it makes sense. Not Kracki's group!
I will tell you what the problem is. I stayed in USA for about 4 years and I have never seen a christian person being discouraged by his peers or anyone else from practicing his/ her faith.
In India, given the influence of the bloody idiots who run the "dravidian" movement, the communist fools and so-called secularists (whose definition of secularism is highly different from the norm)... there are hardly anyone taking up any interest in the ancient philosophies.
It is only because of people's ignorance, people like this crack pot and his wife gain power.
Give the people the sword of knowledge... it will solve the fake Guru problems altogether.

Tell that to thousands of mormon polygimists who feel it is their god given right to diddle 13 year old girls, including their own daughters, all over Utah, Arizona, up in Canada and down in Mexico! Tell taht to thousands of right wing christian identity shave heads who sleep with semi autos under their beds just hopin that the government will push them a little harder. Tell that to the church of christers who believe the catholics are after their bibles and the 7th day adventists who seem to spawn more than their share of messiahs, such as the man from Waco and this Bent character! Tell that to the Pentetentis folks in new mexico who have to crucify themselves secretly in aroyos, where deer and antelope roam lookin for a drink of water and stars fall like drops of blood from the crown of Jesus! Hell, I can't even worship my mule without takin flack from my momma! This earth is hell on heaven!!
It's a blood bath out there
@Chuck:
I made the statement based on experience living in a university community and specifically among people practicing, lets say, 'conventional' editions of Christianity (christianity has its share of Krackis, doesn't it?)
Besides, I was just trying to make a point on the state of affairs in my country.
So... Cool down.

As usual, you are correct sir and I must cool down! The point is that in the good old US of A, if the Kracki was here doin what he does, he'd be surrounded by fellas in flack jackets and they'd be lobbin smoke granades into his compound! For once, I'd be in agreement with that! When 2012 comes and goes, if this guy is anything more than a snake charmer and money grubber, ie if he is the least bit sincere, we might have thousands goin down with poison in their kool aide!
Chuck, take it for granted... this 2012 nonsense is not something which Kracki invented. Nevertheless, he and his wife thingy are CHEATS... no doubt.
Go to this link...

you will see several things which are bizarre about the 2012 thingy.
