Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda, a 27-year-old swami on his 2005 world tour, has "astounded" a biofeedback specialist with his lack of brain activity. If he can get some traction with the satsang junkies, he definitely has a shot at the top ten. He could even be the first swami to cross over to the MTV generation. We'll know Sri Nit has made it after he makes his first cameo in a gangsta rap video.

I had unexpected dharsan of Paramahamsa Nithyananda @ Bangalore airport which started a chain of so called coincidences in my life. I save the whole story for another day. This event experientially proves Art of Living motto "We don't believe in miracles, we depend on them". You see Jody; it is small mind in you that see Satgurus as different persons, but the Big mind in Satgurus are all the same which have been completely identified with the cosmic consciousness or primordial energy.

The only thing proven is that your perception of favorable coincidences appears to correspond with your contact with Nithyananda. There's another term for that: wishful thinking giving rise to a positive mental outlook.

Recently I read two books of Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamiji's Dhyanapeetham( www.dhyanapeetham.org) books. One is a small story -- Parables of Sri Swamiji and other is 27 ways to reach master.
In small story book there is a story called lion and cub. End of that story there is a swamji's
quotation . " If you approach a enligthened master for truth , to tell the truth he will push you , hurt you, cajole you and even he may cheat you".
In 27 ways reach the master, he says that If you approach him for security he is going to throw into atmost insecurity .
He declares that he is enlightened master. By above his statements , it means he is accepting himself as a cheater. I have enough experiences with him to say that he is cheater. When It comes to truth , I never think he himself knows any truth.

Im trying to find out more about this Paramahamsa Nithyananda he is Guru to one of my friends son's. My friend is very concerned as his son is only 21 and is being made to work very hard for his Guru. They have sent him over to England to start up a business without proving him with money. They expect his parents to pay the Uni fees on the course they have choosen for him. He works hard and falls asleep at his computer a lot. He sees his Guru as having shown him the way and that his Guru has given this to him. This to my mind is not something someone gives to you it is within us all all we have to do is access it. Please if there is anyone out there who can give me more information on Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamiji good or bad welcome I would be most appreciative.
I suggest you take your son back immediately. Many people including myself are victims of this Swami. He is not a Satguru. You should seek Satguru's guidances about your son.

Iam not a follower of Swamy Nithyananda and i hardly know him.But i personally think the whole controversy is rubbish and it is a deliberate attempt to defame swamyji by sun network.Only the sun network is telecasting the video.

Not when you consider the fact he was claiming to be a sannyassi, having sex in secret while in orange robes. It was tremendously dishonest of him.
There are many universal truths that were passed on by different messengers during different time periods. Hear the message. Take what you like, and leave the rest. Don't attach too much importance to the messenger. Nithyananda's human failings do not take away from the utility of many of his messages or meditation techniques.

Unfortunately, all things associated with the fake swami (who made him swami anyway?) are now tainted, including meditation. That's one of the main crimes he has committed. The other being taking money from people who put their faith and trust in him. The good side is that maybe a lot of weak minds will wake up!

Very industrious product. Too bad that ship has sailed. Nithy's expansion is done. It's all he can do to hold on to those he's already hookwinked. But kudos to you for such a prolific output in such a short period of time. And the skewed poll is a very nice touch.
Am not a follower of Nithyananda ...though I know someone who's in his ashram. Well, even after this incident he's unwilling to believe that it is true....and leave. He wants to dedicate his life to the swami's work - i find this surprising.
This guy is rather young (early 20's) and I've tried to put some sense into him. For every rational argument his response was I've been there I know what's happening, I've seen several instances of healing, I've undergone so much change ...you wouldn't understand.
Don't know if the so called swami has siddhis ...but my friend is totally sucked into the healing and "energy buzz, little sleep, slave away, doing good??" environment of the ashram.
He's unmoved even after reading other perspectives on the web.
Well, i've let it go thinking that everyone has the freedom to pick their poison in life ....
